Boeing Modle C's 100th anniversary special exhibition

On November 15, 2016, Chairman Chen Qi took the museum "Boeing C" 1:1 simulation model aircraft and went to Taiwan's successful university to participate in the "Boeing Modle C 100th Anniversary Special Exhibition" hosted by the National Cheng Kung University Department of Mechanical Engineering. The exhibition is also to commemorate the Chinese aircraft engineer Wang Zhu.

Wang Zhu (1893-1965)

         In 1917, Wang Zhu was hired as the first aviation engineer by William Boeing's newly established American Pacific Aircraft Company (predecessor of Boeing). Under his design guidance, he successfully improved B&W's first seaplane and was adopted by the then US Navy. Recognized and signed 50 subscription contracts, earning the first pot of gold for Boeing.

After returning China, Wang Zhu participated in the creation of China's first regular aircraft manufacturing plant - Mawei Naval Aircraft Engineering. Initiative and preparation for the establishment of the Central Hangzhou Aircraft Manufacturing Plant. During the Anti-Japanese War, the China Aviation Research Institute was formed to personally participate in the development of aircraft components of various bamboo-wood composite structures. It is one of the main founders of China's modern aviation industry.
